Join jewellery artist Rasma for a unique workshop where you'll create your own silver ring. Perfect for beginners and intermediate makers alike, this workshop will guide you through the complete process of crafting a wearable piece of art.
During this hands-on workshop, you'll learn essential silversmithing techniques while creating a contemporary piece of jewellery. The design can be almost anything of abstract structures, shapes and elements. All materials, including silver wire, will be provided.
WORKSHOP PROCESS
- intro of the process and safety at the studio
- preparation of material
- calculations for ring (measuring sizes)
- cutting
- bending and shaping in desired shape
- sanding the surfaces
- polishing
The process takes around 3 hours
